Scott and his team have been servicing my vehicles for over 20 years now. He has always done a great job and stood behind his work. I've had him work on multiple Nissans, an Infiniti, multiple Toyotas, a Honda, and a Volvo. He has always listened to my description of the symptoms and then tracked down the issue and resolved it. I take my vehicles to him for oil changes and his team looks over the vehicle to see if there are any other issues looming that might strand me--they have caught several issues over the years before I was stranded. I highly recommend Chequered Flag and have sent multiple friends to him over the years. I wish I could find a reliable shop like this for my heavy truck (semi).

I'd recently purchased a nicely renovated '73 MGB. I noticed a fuel odor when driving it and contacted Chequered Flag. After a good conversation with Scott I bought the car in. They determined the problem with the odor (the gas tank evaporation management system was not completely installed!) and found several other important issues that the renovator had done incorrectly. Those issues were also resolved quickly. When I came to pick up the car Scott took me through all the changes and fixes. They'd done excellent work and the car has been performing very nicely since I picked it up. This was my first visit with Chequered Flag and I'll have them handling the ongoing maintenance of my MGB.

I can’t recommend this shop highly enough. Over the past 20 years, my father and now myself, have taken my grandfather’s 1968 Corvette to 6 different classic car repair shops trying to figure out why it wasn’t making the power a 427 should. I spent thousands of dollars replacing parts at other shops without ever fixing the problem. I found this shop on Google and decided to give them a call, and from that first conversation I felt confident they knew exactly what they were doing. They didn’t overpromise and they clearly explained their process: start with the basics and work methodically from there. When I dropped the car off, I immediately felt comfortable with the team. The owner even walked me through the shop and showed me what they were working on. Within two hours, I received a call and a detailed quote explaining precisely what they had found. Other shops had taken weeks just to suggest things like adjusting timing or upgrading the ignition. Had a 2/4" drop kit installed on my brand new 2025 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate. Work completed efficiently, expertly, and with care. Brand new truck. I was nervous. Well done. Even better though, through no fault of their own (I self ordered the drop kit), the rear drop was visually lower than I had anticipated. Due to the shape of the rear wheel well opening it had a Carolina Drag look. Scott walked me through the options. We chose having the leaf springs "re-arched" at Detroit Eaton and reinstalled. Great solution and great engineer thinking. In addition to being very good wrench turners, he and his staff possess engineer minds and creative thinking. Both jobs well priced. Very satisfied and impressed.
